Preparing YOUR Body For Summer

Summer is coming soon and i think its best to get all your 'supplies' before summer actually begins because they'll be cheaper. I find going to boots a bit over whelming because there is so many beauty products that i just don't know where begin, so i put together a little post about all the products i think you'll need for summer. There will be a face version of this coming soon so look out for that.
For all y'all pale gals out there fake tan + summer = ESSENTIAL. I've tried a lot of different types of tan in the past and some i found smell really biscuity or are really streaky but these three aren't any of that...
As you can see this tan looks really dark and scary but its not, when you apply it and massage it into your skin it gradually gets lighter and starts to look really nice and natural, it drys quite fast so you have to be quite quick when applying it but it doesn't really matter because its impossible to get streaky! I use my hands to apply this because i don't have a mitt and it works fine and the best thing.... it doesn't smell of biscuits!
Both these tans are like a lotion and you apply it on to your skin and wake up the next day with a slight tan, i keep on doing this every night until i'm the color i want to be. You have to be a little bit more carefully with these kind of tans to make sure it doesn't come out streaky but it's worth it because i think the result is better then an instant tan. The Gainer one doesn't smell of biscuits, it has a nice apricot scent however the St Tropez one smells a little bit like biscuits.
Sun cream is important for EVERYONE especially the pale gals. I think we all wanna tan not burn!
I think Nivea is all known for sunscreens so for body i get it from them, i burn easily so i like to use factor 30 on ma body, i like this sunscreen because it drys quickly and its not sticky.
If ya do get get sun-burnt then after sun is a must! It helps the sunburn heal quicker and just cools it down, once again its not sticky!
I just realized now that i spelled scrubs wrong on the photo but oh well, lol. When tanning its always good to make sure you exfoliate your skin as it will make the tan go on better, its also good to use a scrub in summer time because it when its hotter your skin gets dryer so its good to scrub off all that dry skin.
This is my favorite scrub for tanning it really exfoliates your skin, but its not too harsh, it also smells amazing like most soap & glory products do.
I use this scrub on an everyday bases because its not very harsh at all its also really moisturizing which is great!
Its good to give your skin moisture all year round, but here are my favorite moisturizers for the summer time.
For summer time when your busy with your friends or about to go to the beach its easy to forget to moisture your body, this spray and go drys really fast, isn't sticky and smells amazing, what more could you want?
I really like this lotion because its super thick so i feel lie it locks in the tan and keeps you moisturized plus you end up smelling like coco powder which is pretty good, right?
I feel like most people forget to give their hands a little bit of love, i hate dry hands so i always make sure i apply a hand cream twice a day.
This lush hand cream is especially for people who's hands spend too much time in the water, when its summer time your spending more time on the beach and in the pool, so your hands are getting pretty wet. So this hand cream is prefect for summer!
This hand cream you have properly all heard about before, its just generally a really good hand cream great for every day use, it drys quickly and i love it!

I hope you enjoyed this quite long post!! Remember there will be a face version of this post coming up soon, cheerio!

Blogging Photo Tips

I felt like sharing with you my blogging photo tips, i really enjoy taking photos and thought i would show you all the things i have learnt along the way when it comes to taking photos...
This first thing is one of the most important steps. Make sure when taking a photo of your product that the product isn't too far away, the reader wants to be able to see the product clearly.
Try and get the best lighting as possible for example: turn the lights on and open the curtains etc. For this picture i shut then curtains and didn't turn on the light, the photos looks really dull and boring.

I personally think that products look better if your not holding them, if you want your product in some fancy position then just use blue tac.
I think having a background behind your product looks nice but try not to make it too messy like this, otherwise it will distract the reader from the product.

The next thing is pretty obvious but make sure what you want to take a photo of is in focus!! In this photo the background is focused but the product i want to show isn't, if you don't have a dlsr camera that you can easily turn the lens to focus something then just be patient and eventually the camera will focus.
Even though this photo is quite nice i still think its important to show the inside of the product instead of just the packaging.
Once you have followed all those steps you should end up with something like this. Let me know if you have a blog and love photography like me and i will see you soon.

Worth The Hype?

EOS lip-balms are very popular on YouTube and blogs. However are they really worth the hype? In this blog-post i share with you my thoughts on the EOS lip-balms.
The main reason why everyone loves these lip-balms is because the packaging and the shape of the balm is just so cute! I do think the rounded shape of the balm makes it quicker and easier to apply, great for on the go.
As for the formulation, its nothing special. Just a regular lip-balm, it is moisturizing don't get me wrong but there's nothing special about the formula.
As for the scent. They do a range of different ones, they are quite artificial smells but i don't really mind because i actually love the smell of them regardless of wherever they smell 'realistic' or not.
My favorite EOS lip-balm out of all the ones i own it this one 'honeysuckle'. Its my favorite scent out of them all and i also really love the color!
So the big question: 'is it worth the hype?' this is tricky because although i love the packaging and want to collect them all (lol) they are nothing special, so i would have to say no. Let me know if you think the EOS lip-balms are worth the hype?
